Why can’t the top speed be increased for certain modes?

The top speed for each of the four modes is set as a percentage of the MAX SPEED value. Refer to the user manual for instructions on adjusting these settings.

The maximum percentage allowed for L Mode is 50%, and for E Mode it’s 60%. If MAX SPEED is set to 27 mph, the top speed in E Mode would be 16 mph (60% of 27 mph).

L Mode is intended for beginners and hybrid use. E Mode is for conserving power while still riding faster than typical longboard cruising. For higher performance rides, S Mode is recommended.
