The top speed for each of the four modes is set as a percentage of the MAX SPEED value. Refer to the user manual for instructions on adjusting these settings.
The maximum percentage allowed for L Mode is 50%, and for E Mode it’s 60%. So if MAX SPEED is set to 24 mph, for example, the top speed in E Mode would be 14 mph (60% of 24 mph).
L Mode is intended for beginners and hybrid use. E Mode is for conserving power while still riding faster than typical longboard cruising. For higher performance rides, S Mode is recommended.
