Why is the remote not charging?

If your Aero Pro remote controller does not appear to charge, first check the charging cable and power source.

Use a USB-A to USB-C cable

The remote must be charged using a USB-A to USB-C cable connected to a standard USB-A power source.

USB-C to USB-C cables will not charge the remote. This includes USB-C cables connected to many modern phone or laptop chargers, even if the cable fits the remote’s USB-C port.

What to try

  1. Connect a USB-A to USB-C cable to the remote.
  2. Connect the USB-A end to a standard USB-A charger, computer USB port, power bank, or other USB-A power source.
  3. Check whether the remote shows that it is charging.

If it still does not charge, try another known-working USB-A to USB-C cable and/or USB-A power source.

If possible, verify the charging setup with another USB device. This helps determine whether the problem is with the remote or with the cable or power source.

If the remote still will not charge after trying a known-working USB-A to USB-C charging setup, please submit a Service Request and include the results of the tests above.
