Preorders & Backorders
Occasionally, Parsec accepts preorders or backorders for out-of-stock items with estimated ship dates provided at the time of purchase.
Estimated dates are subject to change due to supplier delays or logistical factors. We strive to update customers promptly by email or through our website when timelines change.
If your order includes both in-stock and preorder items:
- Orders that include an electric skateboard (e.g., a preorder board plus accessories) will usually ship together when the skateboard is ready.
- Orders containing only accessories or parts may, at Parsec’s discretion, ship in multiple deliveries.
Customers may request a preferred arrangement, but final shipping decisions are made by Parsec based on efficiency and cost.
Processing Time
Orders for in-stock items are typically processed within three (3) business days after payment confirmation. Processing time excludes weekends and holidays. During peak periods, order processing may be delayed by several days. If a significant delay occurs, Parsec will notify you by email.
Some items may follow a different dispatch schedule. The specific handling or shipment frequency for these products is stated on their respective product pages and will take precedence over the general timeframe stated here.
Shipping addresses may be updated before an order ships. Once export processing or carrier handoff begins, the address cannot be changed.
Shipping Origins
Orders may ship from China or the United States depending on stock availability and destination.
Tracking
All Parsec orders ship using tracked courier services appropriate for the destination region.
- For international orders shipped from China, individual tracking numbers may not be available immediately. Tracking is typically provided once the shipment reaches the destination country and is transferred to a local courier.
- For orders shipped domestically from regional facilities, tracking details are issued once the order has been processed and handed to the carrier.
Customers will receive tracking information by email once available. Tracking updates and delivery times may vary depending on the carrier and destination.
Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package size, weight, and destination. Rates may vary by region and carrier availability.
Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery times are displayed on product pages or during checkout. These are estimates only and may vary due to customs clearance, local courier performance, or unforeseen delays.
Shipments do not require a signature upon delivery. Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, ownership and risk transfer to the customer. Please ensure that your delivery address is secure and suitable for unattended drop-off.
Customs Duties & Taxes
All international orders are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Customers are responsible for all import duties, VAT/GST, and brokerage or handling fees charged by local authorities. Parsec does not collect or prepay these fees at checkout and cannot estimate them in advance.
If customs requires additional documentation, the customer must provide it directly. Parsec cannot intervene with customs agencies or guarantee clearance times.
If a shipment is returned due to unpaid duties, refusal, or lack of response, any refund will be deducted for two-way shipping, duties, and handling fees.
Damages & Lost Packages
Parsec is not liable for products damaged, delayed, or lost during shipping. If your order arrives damaged, contact [email protected] within 72 hours with clear photos or video of the packaging and product. Please retain all packaging while a claim is being processed.
If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, Parsec will assist in filing a claim and may, at its discretion, offer a replacement or refund after the claim is resolved.
Packages marked as delivered by the carrier are considered fulfilled and received.
Undeliverable or Refused Shipments
If an order is returned to Parsec as undeliverable, unclaimed, or refused, a refund may be issued only after the parcel is received and inspected. Outbound and return shipping costs, customs duties, and any processing fees will be deducted from the refund. Alternatively, Parsec may offer to reship the order at the customer’s expense.
Shipping Zones
Parsec ships to most major markets where portable electric vehicles can be legally imported. Available destinations are listed at checkout.
Parsec reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders shipping to unsupported or restricted regions, including those using third-party freight forwarders.
