George’s introduction to electric skateboarding began during his teenage years on a friend’s Boosted Board. Over time, he owned and tested many production electric skateboards and began building his own during the pandemic as a hobby.
Looking to bring his designs to market, he relocated to China to be closer to the industry’s manufacturing base and supplier network. There he gained firsthand experience with manufacturing processes, supplier capabilities, and design constraints that shape real-world products.
When George later connected with Daniel Kwan, the two quickly discovered a shared vision for the direction electric skateboards should take: lighter and stronger. Together, they founded Parsec Skateboards and developed the Aero Pro.
