Some Batch 1 Aero Pro units were assembled with metric axle nuts that were manually threaded onto imperial axles. This can make them more difficult to remove.

If you’re having trouble, try using a socket wrench with a 13mm or 1/2” socket for extra leverage. (Remember, lefty loosely!)

Once removed, you can replace them with standard skateboard axle nuts.

When using standard nuts, we recommend using two speed rings on the nut side and none on the hanger side. (The axle already has a built-in speed ring on that side.)
