This issue affects certain Aero Pro units equipped with the separate-flange rear truck hanger design.

We have received multiple reports of loose motor mount assemblies on boards using this design. We regret that some customers have experienced this issue and are committed to supporting all affected units.
How to Check Your Board
If your Aero Pro uses the integrated-flange design, this issue does not apply to your board.
If your Aero Pro uses the separate-flange design, do the following:
- Turn the board upside down and place it on a chair or other surface so the rear truck and drivetrain are suspended in the air.
- Move the Picktail handle up and down.
- Observe the motor mount assembly and rear truck hanger.
If the motor mount assembly moves independently of the rear truck hanger, the flanges are loose.
If the motor mount assembly and rear truck hanger move together as one piece, the issue is not present.
Please note that some units may not exhibit this issue immediately. In certain cases, it may develop after a period of use.
We will provide warranty support for this issue for the lifetime of the product.
How to Report This Issue
- Turn the board upside down and place it on a chair or similar surface.
- Record a short video while moving the Picktail handle up and down.
- Ensure the flanges are clearly visible and keep the camera as steady as possible.
- Submit a service request at https://support.rideparsec.com/service and upload the video.
A case will be created and reviewed within two business days. If the flanges are determined to be loose, we will send a replacement rear truck hanger assembly.
Can the Board Be Ridden?
The severity of this issue varies. Some boards exhibit only minor movement, while others may be more significantly affected.
We have not received any reports of the flanges separating completely or causing the motor mount assembly to detach from the board. However, loose flanges may cause rattling, reduce the rigidity of the drivetrain, and affect your ability to lift the board using the Picktail.
If you discover loose flanges, we recommend reducing or discontinuing use of the board until the replacement hanger assembly arrives and is installed.
We also recommend removing the Picktail handle piece until the replacement hanger assembly is installed. Loose flanges can allow the motor mount plates to move independently which may place excessive stress on the Picktail handle piece and cause it to break.
What Happened
Due to a combination of manufacturing tolerance issues, assembly errors, and inadequate quality control, some rear truck hangers produced with the separate-flange design have flanges that are not sufficiently secured. This can cause the motor mount assembly to move independently of the truck hanger.
The severity of the issue varies from unit to unit, and not all boards produced with the separate-flange design are affected. At this time, we do not know how many units are affected.
What We Are Doing
We are actively developing a design update to permanently resolve this issue. We’ve also implemented improvements to our assembly procedures, training, and quality control processes to reduce the likelihood of this issue occurring in future production.
In the meantime, we are providing replacement rear truck hanger assemblies to affected customers.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to mature as a company and improve our products and processes.
